Welcome to Bonsai Beanie!

Locally-made knitted beanies are the newest in the Ottawa scene. We pride ourselves on authenticity and dedication to our community.

In the fall, winter, and springtime we will be selling our hand-made knit hats, while in the summertime keep an eye out for a beautiful assortment of bonsai and other plants! We have our own specialized system of styling our plants that you won't see anywhere else.

    Each hat is made with care and sold with style. It is our belief that getting hands-on with products makes us aware of the cycle of consumerism.

    Sourcing product from Canadian businesses as a feed-loop and to bring awareness to how many small businesses have been affected by the pandemic.

    We strive to be part of our community. To give back. Our focus with every hat is to make a strong connection and leave our customers with a big smile on their faces!

Hand-made means a product is made with small means without mass-production.

A knitting community unites style and history into an elegant yet fashionable look. We are also pretty cool people.

CARE GUIDE

Each hat can be washed on a low heat and laid flat to dry. You also get a snap-on pompom that can be easily hand-washed.
